PBA Imports Rumors: Ginebra will replace Brownlee?

Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings have dismissed rumors circulating on social media that they are considering replacing Justin Brownlee with Myles Powell ahead of the PBA Governors’ Cup quarterfinals.

Team manager Reymark Rodriguez clarified that there is no reason for coach Tim Cone to replace Brownlee, who is not injured and participated in the team's practice on Monday. The speculation arose after Brownlee exited the game against NLEX in overtime due to cramps.

While Powell previously played for the Bay Area Dragons in the PBA, there are no plans to bring him in as a replacement for Brownlee. The Gin Kings are confident in Brownlee's ability to lead them through the playoffs.

The focus for Ginebra now is on their upcoming series against Meralco Bolts. The Gin Kings will be looking to capitalize on their momentum and secure a spot in the semifinals.

But wait, the team manager did not deny though that Myles Powell is being considered as a replacement of Brownlee if Brownlee got injured.

To be honest, Powell will be an interesting player to watch play for Ginebra.
