PBA Free Agency: Slaughter PBA return should happen to what team?

With Greg Slaughter's potential exit from the MPBL and his rights still belonging to Northport in the PBA, three teams stand out as suitors who could benefit from his size and experience.

#3. Northport

While Northport still owns Slaughter's rights, they've struggled in the frontcourt. Their current best big man, Abu Tratter, is a capable backup but isn't the dominant force the team needs. Bringing Greg back could stabilize their frontline and give them the interior presence they’ve lacked.

#2. NLEX

Coach Jong Uichico has been innovative with NLEX's lack of size, but adding a seven-footer like Greg Slaughter would be a game-changer. His size could solve many of NLEX’s issues, making them much more competitive in the paint, especially against bigger teams.

#1. Ginebra

Although Ginebra's frontline appears solid, injuries to Isaac Go and Jamie Malonzo raise concerns. Slaughter could be the perfect insurance policy for a team already familiar with his style. His presence would reinforce their frontline, allowing them to remain contenders even in injury-prone stretches.

With the uncertain future of the Manila Stars and Slaughter's PBA rights still held by Northport, these three teams stand the most to gain from making a play for the towering center.
