PBA Imports Highlights: Rain or Shine chose an old import!

The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters are taking a gamble on size for the upcoming PBA Commissioner's Cup. The team has signed 6-foot-11 Cameroonian center Kenneth Kadji as their import, and he is already 36 years old.

Kadji, a veteran of several international leagues, including the NBA G League, is known for his strong inside presence and defensive prowess. However, he's not a traditional back-to-the-basket big man. Kadji is more of a play-finisher, capable of scoring in the paint and hitting mid-range jumpers.

The Elasto Painters hope that Kadji can provide a similar impact to their previous import, Aaron Fuller, who was a force on both ends of the floor. However, Kadji may not be as dominant a rebounder as Fuller.

Rain or Shine will need to adjust their game plan to accommodate Kadji's strengths and weaknesses. While his scoring ability and defensive presence can be valuable assets, the team will need to rely on their perimeter players to create scoring opportunities.

Ultimately, the success of Kadji's stint with Rain or Shine will depend on his ability to adapt to the PBA's physicality and the team's overall strategy. If he can deliver, he could be a key player in the team's quest for a championship.
