I decided to come up with another ranking as we start the Commissioner Cup with unlimited height allowed for imports.
Let us rank the center rotation, weighing the overall talent and depth of each rotations.
#12. NLEX
Michael Miranda, Dave Marcelo and Jonel Policarpio will not cut it. Miranda and Marcelo are best served as back-ups to the main back-up center today.
#11. Northport
JM Calma is injured. Abu Tratter, Cade Flores and Cuntapay is just not big enough to battle the other rotations in the league.
#10. Phoenix
The center rotation of Phoenix is promising with Kai Ballungay and Larry Muyang there. They are just not good enough now.
#9. Blackwater
Losing Troy Rosario is a big hit to the center rotation of Blackwater. Cliff Jopia, Justin Chua and Bradwyn Guinto have the size but the talent is lacking.
#8. Rain or Shine
Is Luis Villegas the real deal or will he end up as the worst pick of Rain or Shine in this decade? If he is the real deal, Rain or Shine will soon rise in this ranking.
#7. Converge
Converge can rise in this ranking quickly if Baltazar is the real deal and become a top 15 player right away in the league.
#6. Meralco
Brandon Bates is great and reliable but not yet there as a top 10 center. Raymond Almazan is a starting caliber center too.
#5. Magnolia|
Believe it or not but Magnolia has built a very deep and reliable center rotation with Sangalang, Laput, Reavis and Escoto.
#4. Terrafirma
Like it or not, Christian Standhardinger is still the #2 center in the league and Kenmark Carino is easily a top 15 center.
#3. TNT
Out of the top 3, TNT has the deepest in terms of quantity. Unfortunately, the top 2 in this ranking has a top 3 center.
#2. Ginebra
Japeth Aguilar is already old but the guy is still a top 3 center in the league. With the arrival of Troy Rosario and with Isaac Go there, they deserve this spot.
#1. San Miguel
This spot is easy. Junemar Fajardo is clearly the #1 guy. Even Moala Tautuaa is still clearly a top 10 center in the league.
