PBA Trade Rumors: San Miguel is the destination of Heading?

Rumors are swirling that Jordan Heading may join the PBA with Terrafirma Dyip, his original team, setting the stage for a potential trade.

If Terrafirma signs Heading, San Miguel Beermen could reportedly offer Avan Nava, Kris Rosales, and a second-round pick in a sign-and-trade arrangement. The Beermen are actively seeking a combo guard with Heading’s skill set to strengthen their lineup.

This rumored deal, though unconfirmed by major sources, has some logical foundations. San Miguel’s known partnership with Terrafirma hints at possible collaboration, especially with Terrafirma’s history of engaging in high-profile trades with the Beermen. Furthermore, the proposed trade package could be beneficial for both teams.

For Terrafirma, the deal makes sense given that they risk not securing any compensation if Heading doesn’t join the PBA.

Nava, the #10 pick in the most recent draft, adds youth potential, while Rosales brings seasoned experience to the table.

If the trade materializes, San Miguel will gain a dynamic player in Heading, addressing their need for a versatile guard, while Terrafirma benefits from promising assets. This could ultimately prove to be a fair and beneficial transaction for both teams.
