I did not see the point of adding Phoenix, Northport, Terrafirma and Blackwater in this ranking because of their current record.
We are trying to rank the teams according to their ability to win the championship.
#8. Rain or Shine
They have a deep team but their current issues with injuries may be a big roadblock to a potential championship run. Unless Keith Datu is really the man now.
#7. NLEX
NLEX is currently a top 4 team but knowing their roster and history, it is hard to trust them. Unless Robert Bolick will play out of his mind.
#6. Converge
They are just a very young team right now that it is hard to put them in the top 5. They do have a plethora of capable young stars.
#5. Meralco
Meralco Bolts is really struggling. Fortunately for them, it is much easier to sneak in to the playoffs due to the bad performance of the farm teams.
#4. TNT
The injury to Rey Nambatac is a big problem for them. The point guard position is a crucial part of their system. Will they not fix it?
#3. Magnolia
They are now at the top of the standings alone. Are they about to unleash another Introvoys chapter? There is a big chance of that.
#2. Ginebra
Japeth Aguilar is currently their top scorer. Is this a good sign for them? RJ Abarrientos and Stephen Holt are finding their rhytm.
#1. San Miguel
CJ Perez and Junemar Fajardo is still the best duo in the league. With this incredible duo, it just make sense to put SMB at the top.
