Is it beautiful to see that out of the top 5, there is no San Miguel, TNT, Magnolia and Ginebra. So, it is time to rank them according to our assessment of their capacity to win the championship!
#13. Titan - They are lacking enough support for their import. Gilmore is a fine import but without enough local production, they will have a hard time winning everything.
#12. Blackwater - Is the chemistry of Upshaw-Barefield, sustainable? Upshaw is a very intriguing import and if he can continue to be a great partner with Barefield, that will make them a very interesting team.
#11. Terrafirma - I am glad to see Jerrick Ahanmisi show his true potential and lock-in the ace player role in Terrafirma. But, I will not trust them with a top 10 spot.
#10. NLEX - A 3-1 start is great and Deschon Winston is showing that he is a great find with his 15.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game production. But, I do not think they have enough size for the playoffs.
#9. Macau - The only team without a victory right now. Still, they have a talented local roster. They can turn this around and catch-up the playoff bus.
#8. Magnolia - With Chapman leading them to their first victory, fans could start to calm down. But, fans are also not wrong to say that coach LA Tenorio is having a bad run.
#7. Phoenix - Coach Charles Tiu is just so great in raising the floor of the teams that he is handling. Now, they may have the team that he wants to have a playoff deep run.
#6. Converge - Yes. There is a higher mathematical chance that Converge will be eliminated than reach the playoffs. But, they have a top 3 roster.
#5. Rain or Shine - Can Adrian Nocum be a reliable closer in the playoffs? Luis Villegas has all the quality of being a starting caliber center.
#4. Meralco - If Brickman is really this good as a point guard, Meralco may have enough firepower to get their second title.
#3. Ginebra - I still think that the size of their frontcourt will be a big issue. Fortunately, Justin Brownlee is still awesome.
#2. San Miguel - San Miguel received a wake-up call from TNT. They will now change their import. They need a good import to match-up with #1.
#1. TNT - Bol Bol is truly a nightmare against any team. As long as he is healthy, TNT will just need a consistent performance by their local to win the championship.
