Dave Ildefonso of Abra - He is the reigning MPBL MVP but with an even deeper roster around him, Dave is not needed to put up monstrous numbers.
CONTENDERS
#5. Art Dela Cruz of Isabela - It is really mind-boggling that in MPBL, Art managed to stay healthy and he is now pouring 16.7 points, 50% FG, 10.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game for Ilagan.
#4. Hesed Gabo of Gensan - Gensan is at 15-3 and they are led by their point guard, Hesed Gabo. Gabo is averaging 13.2 points, 37% 3FG, 4.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game. He is arguably the best playmaking point guard in MPBL.
#3. Derick Fenner of Abra - Abra is truly loaded as you can see three players in this list. Fenner is currently the highest rank because he is their current main guy. I am pretty sure that can change in the playoffs.
#2. Mark Meneses of Cebu - Cebu has a great start in this MPBL season because Meneses has breakout into an MVP-level player. He is currently averaging 16.3 points, 59% FG, 8.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.
#1. Nic Cabanero of Binan - I will not argue with any arrangement of the top 3 but for now, I will have Nic at the top. He is producing 17.4 points, 49% FG, 7.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
