As we approach the resumption of the 2026 PBA Governors Cup. It is time to give you our updated power ranking of Best Player of the Conference contenders!
#5. Zav Lucero
There are a lot of players that we can put in #5. We could have put here Fajardo because he is still the best player of San Miguel and if they enter the finals, the chances of Junemar winning is high. But, Lucero is just playing the best overall basketball in the league right now. He is the best do-it-all guy right now and he is doing it at the highest possible level.
#4. Justin Arana
Arana is having a breakout tournament. Although, the guy has been consistent with his high production, he is currently playing on a higher level this tournament. He is averaging 21.8 points, 62% FG, 8.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
It is hard to choose the representative of San Miguel in this ranking because Don Trollano is still there and Fajardo is still a monster. Overall, Perez is still his usual self and he is more efficient this conference. If he can keep that up as George King continue to be the main guy, he could be the BPC.
#2. Adrian Nocum
Another amazing breakout by Nocum as he pushed his numbers higher. This tournament, he is norming 17.7 points, 49% FG, 38% 3FG, 4.0 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game. His sudden emergence as a point guard makes him look like a superstar.
#1. Robert Bolick
Speaking of a superstar point guard, Bolick clearly fits that label. Now that NLEX is playing well again in the elimination round but with a different head coach, can he finally lead them deeper into the playoffs? If he can, the BPC award will be possible!
