2018 PBA Mock Draft 1.0: Who are the potential top 12 picks?

Unlike the past years, the composition of the 2018 PBA draft is still up on the year in the month of March. Even though, a lot of us is anticipating Bobby Ray Parks, to include his name, the chance that he will not do it, is still there.

For the 2018 draft, Rain or Shine has the most number of 1st round picks, because of TNT. Will they rejoice because of it? Let us see.

#1 Kia Picanto - Bobby Ray Parks
Bobby Ray Parks is need of everything. And good for them, Parks can do everything. PBA has been waiting for the arrival of Parks in a long time. And I believe the excitement will be through the roof, if he will be the one to try and carry a franchise that almost have nothing, of value, on their current roster.

#2 Meralco Bolts - Kobe Paras
I am pretty sure Kobe will be allowed to join the PBA draft if he wants to do it this year. Even though another wingman is not a need for the Bolts, it will be an idiotic move to let go of a player that is capable of becoming the next face of the PBA. Just like Bobby Ray Parks, the potential of Kobe is through the roof.

#3 Blackwater Elite - Abu Tratter
There is a real possibility that Tratter will be the best bigman in this upcoming draft. He has legit size and strength for a big, although his skillset is not that develop. Blackwater just need to be patient, for him to develop into a capable starting big.

#4 Phoenix Fuel Masters - Jason Brickman
Phoenix is one of the few teams that are looking for a long-term PG. Brickman could be the best pure point-guard to enter the draft in the last few years. He is a passing machine, capable of finding the open guys in any situation. That will be a huge help for JC Intal and Matthew Wright.

#5 Rain or Shine Elasto Painters - CJ Perez
Between CJ Perez and Robert Bollick, I expect Rain or Shine to choose Perez. Perez ability to play the 4 will come-in handy for them, because almost all their bigs are more about strength rather than quickness.

#6 Globalport Batang Pier - Robert Bollick
Globalport will be on high to know that Bollick will be their guy. Batang Pier will right-away accept a good improvement in their PG rotation, and Bollick is capable of playing the 1. His shooting is also not that bad, providing a good kick-out target for the drives of Pringle and maybe, Romeo.
