My Trade Target Suggestion to Phoenix

The Fuel Masters reached the quarterfinals for this conference and of course, they failed to advance. Phoenix need a lot of things to finally get one of the semifinals ticket. So, let me help them out by pointing out their best trade target.

Justin Melton
This is more about my preference than anything else. Phoenix employs the dribble-drive offense but they have been playing shooters in the PG position! How about a very quick quarterback in Melton?

This season, he is putting up 6.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Don't be fooled by those low numbers because if you convert it to 36 minutes of play, it will rise to 10.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals.

Not star-level production but he is playing a support role. With what I saw this season, I see him as a starting-level talent.

What should Phoenix offer for him? They got SMB's 2017 1st. Or, to be more accurate, the #12 pick in the upcoming draft.

Noy Baclao
In terms of need, Phoenix badly needs a rebounder. In the Philippine Cup, their best rebounders were Matthew Wright and Willy Wilson. In the commissioner's Cup, Phoenix was the 4th worst rebounding squad.

Noy averaged 8.0 rebounds per 36 minutes in his career. He will not only bring rebounding into the team but also the ability to protect the rim.
