Another perennial contender that failed to deliver in the 2017 Com. Cup was the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. They failed to win more than 50% of their game, finishing with a 5-6 card.
One primary reason was the not so great production of their imports. It also did not helped that only one of their locals shot better than 50%.
So, who should they target to improved their performance for the upcoming conference? Let us see.
Jayvee Casio
Rain or Shine is basically a team of average and above average players. Jericho Cruz could be an all-star level player in the future but he is not yet there. That is the reason why I think ROS should pushed for the star-caliber players.
Casio had been battling injuries in the past few conferences and his value is slowly getting down. None the less, Casio is still elite in two skills that Rain or Shine needs. Shooting and passing. Just look at him as an upgrade for Chris Tiu.

So, what could be the right offer to get him? Maybe, a future 1st and Robles.
Art Dela Cruz
Again, Rain or Shine should shoot for the stars. They have a brigade of in-prime very good players that can satisfy the need of any team. That team could be the Blackwater Elite. If Blackwater wants to compete now, they may want a package of those very good players.
How about Jay Washington, Maverick Ahanmisi and Billy Robles? Those three players will help Blackwater now and Ahanmisi and Robles have the potential to be much better in the future.
For Rain or Shine, they will get a versatile young player in ADC. He can do everything, but most importantly, he defends very well!
