2017 PBA Draft Power Ranking 2.0: An Instant Star!

Our national team has open the door for a star to arrive in the league. NCAA season 93 pushed some names into the limelight. Let us check the massive changes in our ranking.

#12 Sidney Onwubere (New!)
Potential = 9
Current Skills and Impact = 8

One guy to take a close look going into the draft is Sidney. He is a dynamo capable of doing a lot of things inside the playing court.

#11 Jason Perkins (Previously #6)
Potential = 9
Current Skills and Impact  = 9

Size and agility could be an issue for Perkins in the PBA. He is not that big enough to be a full-pledge power forward and not agile enough to be a small forward. Nevertheless, he will be a useful player with his scoring ability and strength.

#10 CJ Perez (New!)
Potential = 10
Current Skills and Impact  = 9

Unfortunately, he did not turn out to be at least a lite version of The Beast. At least, he found his niche in scoring the ball. With a mature body and above-average athleticism, Perez can continue to climb up the ladder, skill-wise.

#9  Raymar Jose (Previously 7)
Potential = 10
Current Skills and Impact  = 10

His experience in the Asean Basketball League and in the national team will go a long way in preparing this under-size bigman. Grittiness and skills are his main tickets to success.

#8 Davon Potts (Previously #5)
Potential = 11
Current Skills and Impact  = 11

The minutes has dried up for Davon Potts. Nevertheless, his skill level is still very high and his advance body and athleticism should carry over.

#7 Rey Nambatac (New!)
Potential = 12
Current Skills and Impact  = 11

Rey is following the footsteps of a guy named Earl Scottie Thompson. He has been sniffing and grabbing a lot of loose balls. That skill makes him a unique prospect and weapon. If we consider his ability to score and his age, I may need to put him on the top 3, sooner rather than later.
