JUNE MAR FAJARDO
Giving the Most Valuable Player award in the third conference is just formalities for this season, right? The moment San Miguel Beermen managed to win the 2017 Commissioner's Cup, we should already know that the Kraken will win his fourth one.
San Miguel did not totally wrecked their way to two championships this season. But, two championships out of three is still two out of three. Half of the league still don't have a crown as San Miguel added two again to their collection.
No matter how deep the Beermen is. The fact still remains that their team runs around the Kraken. His ability to bully any local bigs in the country and his uncanny ability to run the length of the court like a guard has been the bread and butter of San Miguel.
Fajardo infused 17.6 points, 11.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.7 blocks and 60.6% shooting in the field. That 60.6% efficiency is his best in his career. That is way much greater than the 48% of Vic Manuel and 50.2% of Greg Slaughter.
The Kraken is just in another level. The advance stats even paints him as more scarier than anyone that you can imagine. The Offensive Rating of his team when he is on the floor is 114.8. While their Defensive Rating when he is on the floor is 94. In short, per 100 possessions, they will outscore the opponent by 20.8 when he is on the floor!
That is crazy! The average net rating in each conference cannot even reached a full point!
In short, June Mar is just beyond ordinary. So, why even think about any candidate?
