Today, PBA approved all the trades related to San Miguel Beermen. Leading the pack is the shipping of Romeo to SMB for Brian Heruela, David Semerad and 2021 1st.
One trade that is missing in the news is the exchange between Blackwater and NLEX. The trade was Paul Desiderio and Abu Tratter for JP Erram.
If you recall, the Erram trade was actually the first one reported to have filed their papers in the commissioner's office. So, it was shocking that they have not made a decision about it.
Abu Tratter and Paul Desiderio joined the practice of Blackwater, today. That is a sign that a deal will still happen.
So there is a big chance that the technical committee has insisted a revision of the trade.
The problem is, it is hard to predict if the revision will favor Blackwater or NLEX. If they have insisted a revision, they may need to explain first why they accepted the Terrence Romeo trade?
Let us hope that if there will be a revision, it will favor Blackwater.
With their Bobby Ray Parks trade also on the table of the Commissioner, I am hoping he realized that Elite badly need his help. They need to at least force the MVP franchises to give 2nd round picks.
Just to show us a "hope".
