Trade rumors continue to swirl around the PBA universe. Alaska Aces has drawn a lot of attention because of a rumored massive desertion of players.
The guy that is being talk about with the strongest desire to go to another team is Vic Manuel. If there is a title for the best post-scorer in the league, I think he is the best candidate to win it.
If he wants a new team. Which teams should consider calling Alaska and asked about him?
Here is the top 3.
GINEBRA
Although coach Tim Cone has not been using the triangle offense anymore as the primary structure of his offense in Ginebra, he is still one of the coaches that value post-scoring. You will notice that with Brownlee, Devance, Slaughter and even the guards when they have clear physical advantage.
So, getting the best post-scorer in the country should make their offense deadlier. Although, it will be hard for Vic and Greg to play together. So, if they will add Vic, Greg may end up being traded.
BLACKWATER
One team that may want to add a new source of scoring is Blackwater. They rely heavily on their guards and wings. So, adding one of the best bigman scorer in the league will provide them a new dimension on offense.
NLEX
NLEX is also a good possibility because I am pretty sure coach Yeng Guiao will require him to learn how to shoot three-pointers. I believe that having a three-point shot will make the offense of The Muscle Man way better. NLEX is also one of the teams, like Blackwater, that are in need of a frontliner that can manufacture a lot of points.
