Do you believe me if I say that the 2020 PBA draft may end up as one of the three best drafts ever in the PBA?
Here is our first mock draft to persuade you.
#1 DYIP Jamie Malonzo - Although Kobe and Thirdy may have more name recognition, I expect that the combination of the size and the athleticism of Malonzo will push him over those guys.
#2 BWE Thirdy Ravena - Thirdy will be a better fit to what the Elite is trying to do and if the connection of the Elite and the MVP franchises is true, this will be the suggested pick for them.
#3 NLEX Kobe Paras - Just imagine having Paras and Kiefer Ravena in the same team. I trust coach Yeng Guiao to be able to maximize two ball-dominant ballers.
#4 ALA Joshua Munzon - Yes. This is how loaded this draft is. The first four players to be drafted are all deserving to be a #1 pick in a PBA draft.
#5 PHX Justine Baltazar - I will not be shock if Baltazar will be able to hype up his name and also put ii into the conversation for a potential top 4 pick appearance.
#6 ROS Troy Rike - Height is might and Rain or Shine knows it. There is a good chance that Rike will loss all the allure if he will not play in any capacity in 2020.
#7 MER Calvin Oftana - Even though they need a center more, the connection to San Beda is so strong that there is no way that they will let go of the opportunity to draft the 2019 NCAA MVP.
#8 NOR Santi Santillan - A skilled bigman that is a good fit beside Christian Standhardinger. I hope he will start developing his outside shot.
#9 MAG James Laput - There is a good chance that Magnolia is not already looking for a center in the 2020 draft but in just in case, a 6'9 player is worth the try.
#10 BGSM Jason Brickman - One of the best Filipino PGs is still not playing in the PBA. That could be a blessing for Ginebra who is still looking for one.
#11 TNT Ricci Rivero - I think the hype for Rivero has dwindle down but the allure of a strong-bodied wing that will help the marketing of the franchise is still there.
#12 SMB Javi Gomez de Liano - Javi is a great fit for the Beermen because he is skilled and can hit outside shots.
50% syan mag baback out... hahahahahaha!!!
