The biggest trade in our infancy season just happened! San Miguel, currently at the top of the standings, exchange their youngest superstar for two other superstars, providing themselves with the most firepower in the entire league.

San Miguel Trade: Scottie Thompson, Kevin Ferrer, Robbie Herndon, Smb 2020 1st
Phoenix Trade: Matthew Wright, Mark Barroca Phoenix 2020 2nd
San Miguel
If you have Junemar Fajardo, the only path that you can take is to go all-in. So, giving up their young studs and a first for a Wright and Barroca was understandable.
But, there is a big question mark in terms of fit. Thompson, Ferrer and Herndon are basically excellent on their roles, surrounding the two main scorers of San Miguel, Sean Anthony & Fajardo.
Now, San Miguel will add two ball-dominant players in Wright and Barroca. The whole system will need to change to incorporate the two superstars.
The risk is real but the increased in their firepower is real as well. And I think, that 2nd from Phoenix was a nice value-added.

This is not a rebuilding move yet, because Thompson is a very good starter and Ferrer and Herndon are credible on their roles. Although, looking at their roster. they are now lacking an ace player.
Lassiter can do that but I do not think he can be the guy for a title-contender. The biggest question now for Phoenix is, who will be the 2nd best scoring-punch of Phoenix?
Overall, Phoenix basically divided the value of Wright and Barroca into three players and a potential late 1st-round pick. It is up for Phoenix now to make the right decision to maximize this move.
