PBA fans are not the only ones who are excited about the upcoming PBA draft. Even coaches and team officials have told the national media that they are looking forward to this draft.
So, here is another list of declarations. Again, we provide the range that we predict where the prospect will be chosen.
RK Ilagan
Ilagan has been recognized as the best shooter of the NCAA in their past two seasons. Just imagine someone who has the green light to take shots at the early part of the shot clock even beyond 30 feet. His efficiency though is not that good yet. Nevertheless, the mechanics of his jumper and his shooter mentality are his biggest selling points.
Range: 2nd round
Jerie Pingoy
Once hailed as the future of the guard position in Philippine basketball is now headed to the PBA draft without any assurance that he will be drafted in the first two rounds. That is the story of Pingoy who won the UAAP Junior MVP plum, not once but twice. Will we witness a redemption story? Or will he be a good example moving forward of the importance of athleticism?
Range: 3rd round
Tyrus Hill
Speaking of athleticism, we have Hill who last played for DLSU Green Archers in the UAAP. He is a high flyer in every sense. Although, his skill level is not that high. Nevertheless, with his athleticism alone, his ceiling is pretty high.
Range: Bottom of the 2nd round
Ken Holmqvist
Are you tired of James Laput as the 6'9 of the upcoming draft? Here is another 6'9 for your sake. Ken is a 6'9 former FEU player who was supposed to be a crucial part of the team in 2017 until he decided to return to Norway.
His size though will be a big selling point. Although, he is very slow-footed. Just think about Greg Slaughter, but a smaller version.
Range: Top of the 2nd round
