Height is still might in the PBA. So, I am pretty sure you want to know the top 8 giants that will enter in the 2021 PBA draft.
Let me rank them for you.
8. Tzaddy Rangel (NU) - 6-7
There is a good chance that the only reason why Tzaddy is still in the basketball circuit is his height. He has failed to generate any hype even with the physical attributes that he has.
7. Ken Holmqvist (FEU) - 6-8
I am interested in the possibility that Ken will have enough shooting to be a game-changing center in the league. But if his shooting will not work out, he may not last that much.
6. Seraj Elmejrab (Lyceum) - 6-8
Out of all the giants in this ranking, I think Seraj has the imposing size. It is also good that he already have workable things on offense.
5. Rey Mark Acuno (UE) - 6-7
Acuno is already good at maximizing his size on the defensive end. He also has a good sense of offense. If he falls in the middle of the 2nd round, he could be a steal.
4. Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser (UC Riverside) - 6-7
Ganuelas-Rosser has not put up any impressive statline in his amateur career but in terms of his strength and physique, he could be something.
3. Ben Adamos (San Beda/ Perpetual) - 6-7
He could be the best rim protector at this point in this list. His timing in blocking shot is very good and I suspect his wingspan is pretty long. Add a potential workable jump hook and Ben could actually be a starter in the big league.
2. James Laput (DLSU) - 6-10
The tallest guy in the draft. He is not that slow compared to the others on this list and his basketball awareness looks pretty good already. Although, he has a lot of learning left to do.
1. Troy Rike (Wake Forest/ NU) - 6-8
The most skilled player on this list. Defensively, his fundamentals are already on a good level. He knows what to do on the perimeter. Offensively, he is already hitting threes and provide a hard screen.
