PBA Controversy: PBA players are angry about the VisMin scandal but not about PBA farm teams?

I am pretty sure you already watched the laughable things that happened in the game between Siquojor and Lapu-Lapu in the VisMin Super Cup.

PBA fans were not the only ones who were mad with what transpired. Even the current PBA players showed how dismayed they were.

"Madaming player nawalan ng trabaho ngayong pandemic, at gustong gusto maglaro, kayo yung mga pinagpala para makapaglaro tapos ganyan." I respect this opinion of Paul Lee which focused on the aspect of playing basketball as a job.

Although, the more familiar response was about respecting the game. and that was the first part of the social media post of Paul. Lee and Raymond Almazan posted in their social media account, "binababoy niyo ang laro.."

CJ Perez, Robert Bolick, Kiefer Ravena, Aaron Black, Marc Pingris and many more posted about respecting the game.

One question popped in my mind though. When we say respecting the game, is it only about what is happening inside the court? Or, it involves things outside the court for a professional league?

Is it not a disrespect to the game if a team is participating in a league but their real intent is not to contend for the crown?

That their real intent is to give advantages to other franchises in exchange for cash?

Is that not disrespectful enough?
