Do not be shocked if the teams are pretty silent in terms of transactions at this point. I think all of them are waiting for clarity of the schedule for the upcoming season.
One team that is waiting patiently is San Miguel Beermen. And according to one article of Spin.ph, they are looking for a back-up bigman.
Out of all the available bigman, which one should the Beermen, targets?
Jay-R Reyes
Size is important for centers. Reyes is 6'7. He is also a willing three-point shooter. His presence will make it much easier for the plethora of elite guards of San Miguel. With his outside shooting, he can also play together with Moala Tautuaa.
Yutien Andrada
I think, grabbing a center that doesn't need the ball to have an impact in the game will be very good for San Miguel. Andrada is an athletic, rim-running bigman. His defense is good because of his length and athleticism.
He together with Arwind Santos will create a fortress that will be hard to dribble around for their opponent.
James Sena
Sena will bring a different flavor. He is undersized but he is pesky on both ends of the court. He is also capable of running some hand-off plays and run some elbow actions.
