The Free Agency market of the PBA is not as exciting as their trade market. Nevertheless, teams can still find viable players there.
Especially if you need a bigman. So, let me give the five centers available in the free agent.
#10 Arnold Van Opstal
AVO should still be mentioned in this list because the guy is a 6'9 with above-average athleticism. Size is still might in the PBA.
#9 Jhaymo Eguilos
Phoenix gave Eguilos a shot. Unfortunately, he failed to show that he deserves to stay with them. Eguilos though looks strong and athletic enough to get a second chance.
#8 James Sena
If you are looking for size, Sena should not be the big that your favorite team, targets. But, if they are looking for skills, Sena can give that.
#7 JR Reyes
There are rumors that Reyes is already contemplating retirement but it is super hard to find a 6'8 who can hit three-pointers. Reyes deserves another PBA contract.
#6 Papot Paredes
I wonder what happened to Paredes. He showed enough skills and survivable athleticism to keep playing in the league. Maybe, it is about the opportunity. Can he get one more chance?
#5 Seraj Elmejrab
Seraj is here because he is 6'8. I do not know if he has the foot speed to play in the PBA but in terms of size and strength, I think he can.
#4 Jason Ballesteros
Ballesteros' career was derailed by injuries. But if your team is in need of defense, Jason should be their guy.
#3 Joseph Eriobu
He will not capable of playing the center position in the PBA but Eriobu has the strength and athleticism to be an interesting power forward.
#2 Yutien Andrada
Athleticism and length are always a very good combo. Yutien has that and he can be a good glue guy on both ends of the court.
#1 Rabeh Al-Hussaini
There is no question that Rabeh is the most talented bigman available in the free-agency market. He will come with a lot of baggage though.
