Alaska and Magnolia are the two most popular teams taking part in different trade rumors. Like, they were rumored last time to be talking about Jerrick Ahanmisi.
This time, the rumor brought out by Basketbol ng Pilipinas is that Magnolia and Alaska are talking about a Jio Jalalon for Michael Digregorio and picks, trade.
If you are not that familiar with DiGregorio, he produced these numbers in the PBA bubble, 10.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 41.1% FG and 33.3% 3FG per game.
He is an excellent shooter, with a good handle but limited athleticism. The guy has played for several teams already.
Now, is this trade realistic?
It is hard to fathom Magnolia going for another guard again after grabbing Loren Brill from the free agency market.
Although, they do need the shooting of a Mike DiGregorio.
If the plan is for Mike to takeover the minutes of Jio Jalalon, that will actually makes sense because Mike will provide the shooting.
On the other hand, Alaska will love to have an energetic defender like Jio, who also have the playmaking chops.
