PBA Trade Rumors: SMB is not trading Terrence Romeo!

The Twitter personality who is the most diligent guy in providing trade rumors put a big one recently. In the Tweet, he directly said that Terrence Romeo and one of Chris Ross and Alex Cabagnot are being offered by San Miguel for Jamie Malonzo and Troy Rike.

In the Tweet, it is stated in a way that the deal is still in discussion. It means the deal could change in the future.

So, should you believe this rumor?

Of course no. There are three red flags against this rumor.

First one is the history between Terrence and the Northport franchise. Remember that Terrence was drafted by Globalport, the former name of the neon squad.

And that Globalport traded him away after having several spats with coach Pido Jarencio and even the owner lied about not trade Terrence.

The second red flag is the positions of the players involved. Northport may add one star point guard but not more than that as Robert Bolick is there.

Lastly, the past farm team trades of Northport were never done in a single year. After the Stanley Pringle trade, the Standhardinger swapped for Greg did not happen.

So, it is hard to see them make this big of a farm team trade, this year.
