PBA Free Agency: Ginebra's Jeff Chan is a Free Agent! Which team needs him?

 

There is a swirling rumor that Jeff Chan was already relegated by Barangay Ginebra San Miguel into Unrestricted Free Agency.

And checking the website of Ginebra, a transaction was posted that Joe Devance returned to the line-up, in exchange of putting down Jeff Chan into Unrestricted Free Agency.

That means Jeff Chan can now sign with any team that he is interested with. Although, there was a post stating that Chan decided to go home from the semi-bubble due to personal reason.

If that is the case, Jeff may not be interested into moving into any other team and will just casually return to the lineup of Ginebra if he decides to in the future.

That doesn't mean that other teams may not pursue him. They can still try to get him but if there is an internal agreement between Chan and Ginebra, it will be hard to persuade him.

Nevertheless, who are the teams that should try?

Magnolia Hotshots may want to take a shot if they are desperate in adding a shooter in their line-up. Number wise, Chan is not that impressive but he will surely stretch the floor because of his name and stature in the league.

Another team that may want to consider is Rain or Shine because they are also in need of finding a shooter.

Although, Ginebra is also badly in need of a sniper.
