Here is our last power ranking before the arrival of the playoffs.
#10 Phoenix Fuel Masters (#8 Last Week)
Phoenix can still make the playoffs but their fate is not already on their hands. The good thing is, they do have the talent to do something crazy in the playoffs.
#9 NLEX Road Warriors (#9 Last Week)
Coach Yeng Guiao is really an amazing coach. He will be sending this team into the playoffs without their top player, Kiefer Ravena.
#8 Alaska Aces (#10 Last Week)
Alaska can be a playoff team by winning their last two games against San Miguel Beermen and Northport Batang Pier.
#7 Northport Batang Pier (#6 Last Week)
The fact that they are is on the cusp of beating Magnolia Hotshots and then completing a close win against Rain or Shine gave me a little hope that they have a really strong team.
#6 Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel (#4 Last Week)
Even the statements coming from their players and coach Tim Cone are not that encouraging to me. Is there a chance that Ginebra is not only having issues inside the court but also off-the-court?
#5 Rain or Shine Elasto Painters (#7 Last Week)
Rain or Shine only have two players averaging more than 10 points per game but collectively, they are a very dangerous opponent in the playoffs.
#4 San Miguel Beermen (#5 Last Week)
Terrence Romeo will not be there for San Miguel and Fajardo may not be 100% still. Lacking enough star power, coach Leo Austria may not be able to perform well.
#3 Meralco Bolts (#3 Last Week)
Do not look beyond the Meralco Bolts. They arguably have the deepest team, in terms of the quantity of good players. And they have a versatile roster capable of giving headaches to any team.
#2 Magnolia Hotshots (#2 Last Week)
I think Magnolia has the right to be the #1 but I think they have more holes in their game than that of TNT.
#1 TNT Tropang Giga (#1 Last Week)
Mikey Williams is a game-changer for the system of coach Chot Reyes. With a balance supporting cast, TNT may have the complete tools to win the championship.
