PBA Free-Agency: Which team needs a 6'6 athletic shooter?

To make room for Jay Washington, Blackwater decided to relegate Nino Canaleta to unrestricted free-agency.

For me, this is a laughable decision because if you remember in the Philippine Cup, they pointed to KG as the leader of their team.

And after being pointed as the leader of their team, they just easily relegated him to unrestricted free-agency. This means that any team can now offer a contract to him.

KG struggle mightily this year. In the Philippine Cup, he produced 5.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.6 assist and 20% 3FG per game.

but in 2020, he was an excellent athletic forward who can stretch the floor. The question is, can he still bring out that form of his.

If he can, there are two teams that should really try to get him. The first one is San Miguel Beermen because they really lack a forward with KG's size and length. 

KG is easily an Arwind Santos' lite. He may not bring the full value of Arwind but at the very least, he can replicate some of his good qualities.

The other team that should consider him is Magnolia Hotshots. 

Of course, this is due to the need for Magnolia for a shooter. KG can be that stretch power forward that fits beautifully beside Ian Sangalang.
