According to PBA on the Go, currently the most active source of trade rumors in the PBA, TNT is assessing two of their star players.
When players are being assessed, it basically indicates that the team is considering a potential change with those players in their mind.
They are RR Pogoy and Troy Rosario. Should they be assessed?
Rosario produced 8.3 points, 51% FG, 4.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists in 20 minutes per game. I think, that is actually a fine level of production for Troy. Although, his three-point shot was nowhere to be found at 20% efficiency.
RR was actually worse in terms of efficiency. His overall statline was 12.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 36% FG per game.
He is supposed to be one of the deadliest shooters in the league but the guy only shot 17% from beyond the arc. That is not acceptable.
Between the two, RR's position is also deeper because of the arrival of Gab Banal and Matthew Ganuelas-Rosser.
On the other hand, Troy is still one of the most unique types of players in basketball and that should make it hard for TNT to let him go.
So, between the two, Pogoy could be the one that they can used for a trade.
