We are at the point of the early half of the tournament that we can already talk about the potential trade targets of each team.
For the final part of this series of article, we will be having Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, Terrefirma Dyip, Blackwater Elite and Phoenix Super LPG.
Barangay Ginebra - Jayvee Casio
I understand that Ginebra is currently at the top of the standings. But, the injury of Stanley Pringle is actually a big deal. Specially if you witness how unstoppable Mikey Williams is. Mikey will not work that much on the defensive end if Stanley will not be there.
So, how about Casio? Casio is playing very well with Blackwater Elite. He is proving that he is still a starting-caliber guard in the league. I also do not think that his trade value is that high. So, Ginebra should be able to get him for a 1st round pick.
Terrafirma - 1st round pick
With the sudden excellent start of Blackwater, Terrafirma is currently alone in the "disgusting farm team" room. If Terrafirma is serious, the best thing to do is really to tank it out and ask try to find another 1st round pick. Their injury problems is just too much for them to handle.
Blackwater - Marcio Lassiter
Blackwater has an excellent start but they still need firepower to sustain this form. Lassiter will bring the spacing that they need and leadership for a potential playoff run.
Phoenix - Greg Slaughter
I think Phoenix is the team that will benefit the most by grabbing the biggest player in the league. First, they never had a giant in the past. Second, Phoenix has the most number of spacers to maximize Greg. I really think that Greg can flourish in Phoenix.
