Coach Yeng Guiao has officially returned to Rain or Shine Elasto Painters after a successful stint in the NLEX Road Warriors.
But, it is still mind-boggling that NLEX Road Warriors let go of coach Yeng even with his excellent performance in handling a pseudo-"farm" team of the MVP group.
Of course, you are aware now that the reason of his departure was the fact that NLEX did not offer the head coaching position but a corporate job.
Again, that is mind-boggling. There is no way that NLEX management saw the performance of coach Yeng as a below-average one.
Thus, the reason of NLEX could be not related about the performance of NLEX inside the court. Or, maybe some political maneuvers happened inside the camp of NLEX and someone want to takeover the Head coaching job.
Now, the saddest possibility is, NLEX could be heading towards another set of trades to help out the TNT Tropang Giga.
Coach Yeng has built big 3 in Calvin Oftana, Kevin Alas and Don Trollano. Maybe TNT wants to further enhance their team and get one or two of these guys.
Let us hope for the best though.
