The surgery to the throat of Junemar Fajardo was successful. Unfortunately for San Miguel Beermen, there is a good chance that he will miss the remaining elimination round.
Without Fajardo, San Miguel played like a bad team against Bay Area Dragons. I think, we should already expect that knowing that, that is the style of coach Leo Austria.
Now, there is a rumor that San Miguel could be looking for a trade. I do not think they need to do that. They still have a formidable rotation on the frontline even without the Kraken.

Jason Ballesteros
This is all about the ability of Jason to defend the rim. The guy is a certified shot blocking machine even at the age of 37. Offensively, San Miguel should not have a problem. So, how about a defensive-minded big.
Brian Faundo
Now, if coach Leo Austria insists on getting some offensive big, Faundo could be his best bet. The guy is lethal from the midrange area and well respected.
Kelly Nabong
Is there a chance that Kelly will return to San Miguel? Arwind Santos is already not with the team. Nabong will be a positive on both ends.
