We already tackled the rumored offer of the San Miguel Beermen for Robert Bolick of the Northport Batang Pier.
Magnolia Hotshots is a sister team of San Miguel and yet there is a big difference to their rumored offer. According to Snow, Magnolia has two offers for Robert.
The first one is Paul Lee and Jackson Corpuz. The second one is Jio Jalalon and Jackson Corpuz. A lot of fans look at the offers as fair.
I do not totally agree.
The Jio Jalalon and Jackson Corpuz is fine in my eyes. I can accept that Jalalon can cover 85% of the trade value of Robert. Corpuz will cover the other 15% and we have a good exchange.
The Paul Lee and Jackson Corpuz combo will miss it by small amount. I think Lee can only cover 70% of the trade value of Robert.
Lee is already exiting his prime years. His production has been in a downtrend. His performance in the playoffs is highly criticized.
Although, that Lee and Corpuz for Bolick trade is still way better than the offer of San Miguel.
