Let us be honest as a PBA fan. The presence of Bay Area Dragon in this 2022 PBA Commissioner's Cup has brought it to a higher level of entertainment.
You know why?
Because at the end of the day, PBA is a sports competition. And watching strong and competitive teams doing showing their best to get the victory is the easiest path to entertainment.
I am writing this while Myles Powell is torching the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters with more than 50 points production!
And you know what, Myles is allowed as an import for the 2023 Governors' Cup! So, how about inviting them again in the upcoming tournament no matter what happened in this Commissioner's Cup?
Unless the rich teams in the PBA are already afraid with what they witnessed from Bay Area? Are they already afraid that the country will find out that PBA has failed to keep up in the basketball level of the region?
Or will they accept the challenge of trying to compete again against Bay Area Dragon?
I understand that the Bay is already spending a lot with their participation in this Commissioner's Cup. But, they seems to have even deeper pockets than SMC or MVP team. So, I think they can do it.
