The trades in the last five years that we recorded were considered in coming up with this draft order for Round 2. But there is a good chance that there are some inaccuracies with the order.
ROUND 2
1 DYIP King Caralipio - He was one of the leader of Letran in their most recent conquest in the NCAA. He is a hardworking wingman who can really reboaund and can score in multiple ways.
2 XERS Kenmark Carino - With the length of Carino, it will be hard for Converge to say no to him at this point. Finding tall guys is still one of the most crucial part in team building in the PBA.
3 PHX Ken Tuffin - There is a good chance that Phoenix can continue their good streak of excellent second round pick by choosing Tuffin if he fell to the 2nd round. He played well in an International league.
4 ROS CJ Payawal - There is something about a 6'5 wingman that should easily intrigue Rain or Shine. He showed great promise in UE.
5 BWE BJ Andrade - A deadly shooter of the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Everyone saw what happened to Tyler Tio and a lot will assume that it can easily happen again. BJ will be their bet.
6 BWE JB Bahio - Blackwater's connection to MVP group will lead them to drafting this hardworking undersize bigman, JB Bahio. He has the tools to be a good bench big for a long time in the PBA.
7 NLEX Warren Bonifacio - Bonifacio's performance was not as good as last year. Nevertheless, he is still that post-scoring with very good passing forward that can be useful in the PBA.
8 TNT Christian David - David is a legit NCAA Division 1 player. We all know how high is the success rate of this type of pedigree. David though do not have that much hype leading him to fall into the 2nd round.
9 XERS Louie Sangalang - I feel like coach Aldin Ayo will appreciate a bigman like Sangalang. Hardworking with quick-enough feet which will help him defensively.
10 BGSM Kyt Jimenez - Jimenez is the perfect pick for Ginebra. He is very popular and he has the playing style that Ginebra followers are craving for since Caguioa was overtaken by father time.
11 ROS CJ Lane - Rain or Shine can end up with an excellent draft by grabbing potentially the biggest participant of the upcoming draft. Partner him with Villegas and they now have a twin tower.
12 MAG Judel Ric Fuentes - A supernova scorer in MPBL. He averaged 17.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 3 three-pointers made and 38% 3FG per game.
