Even though they are still a good number of PBA fans who were delighted in a negative way when they heared that Justine Baltazar is ban from the KBL, there are still way more understanding fans who were sad of that report.
With the ban to play in KBL and with what happened in Japan, it seems like the 2023 PBA draft could be the best option for Justine to rebuild his value.
And Converge will surely prepare to get him. With the current hype around Justine, he will be a contender for the #1 pick.
Unfortunately for Converge, Terrafirma is almost assured of getting the #1 pick. So, if they want to get 100% assurance that they will get Justine, they need to trade for that pick.
What is the perfect deal for it?
BEST DEAL - Jeo Ambohot, future 1st round pick, David Murrell or Alec Stockton
The dream deal for Converge is to overwhelm Terrafirma with interesting pieces. Ambohot is a high-ceiling modern bigman who is the #3 pick of the 2022 draft. That 1st round pick can be something. David or Alec are good young pieces.
REALISTIC DEAL - TNT 2023 1st, Jeron Teng or Abu Tratter or Maverick Ahanmisi
I think the most realistic deal is for Terrafirma to get one of the big names of Converge and that late 1st of TNT. That way Terrafirma will still have a rookie and will get a good name that they can trade in the future.
WORST DEAL - Jeo Ambohot, TNT 2023 1st, Jeron Teng or Abu Tratter or Maverick Ahanmisi
The worst deal is if Converge is also forced to give up Jeo. Terrafirma will push Converge to there limit and I think this is the worst deal that Converge will accept wherein they clearly losses the deal.
