The semifinals of the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup has excellent matches that can do the distance. TNT and Meralco will be an interesting face-off.
But talent wise, people will look forward to seeing San Miguel and Ginebra slay each other. Both are gunning for their second title this year.
So, which team will win this best-of-five?

The top 2 teams in terms of assists will battle in this series. This is one of the reason why I am excited for this face-off. Both are engaging to watch. Ginebra's passing is more systematic than that of San Miguel. Although, San Miguel are also interesting because they have a good number of players who are excellent in creating for others.
The two squads will start this match-up with big injuries each. But, Fajardo will not be able to return compared to Japeth Aguilar who could return. And Moala Tautuaa is the guy that will takeover for him. The question is, can Moala handle the fort against Standhardinger?
Knowing that this will be a battle of the two of the most powerful squads in the league, I expect that 1st quarter to be crucial. The team that will get their rhythm on offense early will have a much clearer advantage and path to victory.
Prediction
This is a hard one to predict. Even with the injury to Fajardo, I still think that San Miguel is the team with better talent. I am not that confident that Moala can handle the fort against a berserking Standhardinger. And with coach Tim Cone having a clear coaching advantage, the 1st quarter could be controlled by Ginebra.
So, I am going with Ginebra in this one.
