There are a portion of the human race that believe strongly about destiny. Some of them are sports fans and it is actually make fanbases stronger.
According to dictionary, it is a hidden power believed to control what happens in the future. This run of TNT Tropang Giga in this tournament feels like one.
First, it was the sudden availability and finding of a monster import, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. The TNT management decided to do the hard thing and replaced their young import who was doing well.
Then, the finals happened and they will face the defending champion Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. They did not start the series very well but they still managed to get game 2 and game 4 due to an out-of-this-world three-point shooting.
Game 5 happened and Ginebra got a double-digit lead at half-time. Unfortunately for Ginebra, Justin Brownlee will be rushed to a hospital after because of a food poisoning. Nobody wanted that food poisoning to happen but it also was TNT needed to tilt the talent difference of the two teams into their favor.
And now, game 6 is coming and there is a good chance that Brownlee will still not be there. Ginebra will surely play with more vigor as they try to push it to game 7 but this will also be the first time that TNT will have the talent advantage.
Can they finish the job and complete their destiny?
