It seems like NLEX Road Warriors is pretty determined to part ways with Quinahan. The main issue is the reality that he did not play with NLEX but he ended up playing in Ligang Labas.
NLEX has the right to feel that way. And I do think that terminating the contract with JR which I assumed will push him to the Unrestricted Free agency, is the right way to go.
Now, which three teams should give him another chance?
#3 Northport Batang Pier
They are the team that is in need of a bigman. Quinahan is already old but he is very reliable. Maybe, he is the bigman that can help JM Calma developed into something special.
#2 Magnolia Hotshots
Even after acquiring Abu Tratter, Hotshots may still have an issue with their frontline rotation. It is because of the big issue that Ian Sangalang is facing. I understand that Quinahan is also having his own troubles. But, I doubt that JR's ability to play in the upcoming tournament will be hampered by it.
#1 Barangay Ginebra
The frontline of Ginebra is in good hands with Christian Standhardinger there. Unfortunately, the depth could be an issue again this upcoming season. With how injury-prone Japeth Aguilar is,
