The most recent trade between Magnolia Hotshots and Converge Fiber Xers had been discussed more in the angle of Converge even though Magnolia received the most valuable piece.
Magnolia got Abu Tratter. I have been impressed with Abu in the last few years but the advance numbers are not actually that friendly to him.
And knowing the history of Magnolia, this can turn out to be a bad move.
Let me just remind you that I clearly saw the trade in favor of Magnolia. Majority of the fans and some analysts got into the same conclusion. So, how can this be a bad move in a year?
Remember that Magnolia has been the slowest trader in the last few years. And their fans should fear if Abu is already the bigman addition for the year.
Tratter is a good addition but he is not the type of bigman that Magnolia needs. What Magnolia needs is a giant. Moala Tautuaa fits that bill and we heard a rumor about it this year.
I will not be shocked if Abu is already the bigman addition of Magnolia for the upcoming season. And that by next season, we will watch them again failing to even reach the playoffs because their talent level is still not good enough.
