With the false rumor earlier this month about the potential of San Miguel trading Junemar Fajardo, I decided to come up with a new series of article.
In this series of article, I will look on each team and provide the fairest offer that they can give to get Fajardo. For this edition, we will look at Terrafirma Rain or Shine and Northport.
Terrafirma - Isaac Go, Javi Gomez de Liano, 2023 #1 pick, 2024 1st, 2025 1st, 2026 1st
Of course, if Terrafirma will trade for Fajardo, they will try to compete right away. So, they will keep their top veterans while sending their high potential guy. At the middle of this offer is the #1 pick of the upcoming draft and Isaac Go.
Go was not amazing in his rookie season but the glimpses are there. I think he can cover 20% of the value of Fajardo. We are very high about the 2023 draft. So, we think that #1 pick can cover 33% of the value of Fajardo. While the three other first round picks can cover 12% each. Javi is there to cover the remaining.
Northport - #5 pick, Robert Bolick, Troy Rike, Arwind Santos, 2024 1st
I just believe on the level of talent of Bolick. Of course, Fajardo is still a better top player than Robert. Nevertheless, I think Robert can cover 55% of the value of Fajardo. That #5 pick can cover 24%. Then Troy Rike, Arwind and that 2024 1st will cover the difference.
Rain or Shine - #3 2023 1st, #4 2023 1st, Gian Mamuyac, Santi Santillan, Beau Belga, 2024 1st
Those #3 and #4 pick are really valuable specially if the upcoming draft will reach the talent level that we anticipate it to be. I think the two picks can cover 55% of the value of Fajardo. Mamuyac and Santillan are the promising prospects that can further cover 30% of the trade value of Fajardo. And then Belga and that 2024 1st will cover the remaining.
