PBA Controversy: Willie Miller hated his time with Ginebra!

Basketball players are expected to be working to be at their best shape possible. There are only a few who managed to stay long in the PBA even with subpar physical fitness.

And then you have legends like Willie Miller who were honest about his physique but still managed to end up with multiple championships and multiple MVPs.

Now, he is trending because of a statement about his time in Ginebra. Here was the statement when he was asked about his least favorite coach!

"Pano ko magugustuhan ( Sina Jong Uichico at Siot Tanquincen)  hindi ako ginagamit ng maayos mas inuuna rookies. Magagaling naman mga rookies sina Jimbo Aquino, John Wilson at Rob Labagala pero anak ng pusa paulit ulit talo na nga di pa nag aadjust (mga Coaches) Kaya pinapagalitan ako ng mga boss sina Ramon Ang at Danding Cojuangco na sabi kinuha ka namin para maka shoot pero hind ka nakakatulong, ang sagot ko boss pano ko makakashoot ginawa akong cheer leader 😂 Kakukuha lang sakin ng Ginebra noon tapos kumuha pa ng tatlong gwardya pa,  nabansagan nga kami noon na nagtayo daw ng security guard agency."

And that seems to be the start of the downturn of his production. Remember that Ginebra was having a hard time winning championship in this era.

The statement is very honest but I am pretty sure coach Jong and Siot have their reasons.
