So, the dates for the upcoming 2023-2024 season f the PBA is out. We have several months still to wait before we see our players into action.
Now, the trade table is still open for some more exchanges. And that is the reason why we have this ongoing series of suggesting win-win trades between Northport and all the other teams. For this edition, we will have Converge, Meralco and Rain or Shine.
Converge
#5 pick for Jeo Ambohot and #14 pick
Converge wants a high pick that they could utilize to grab Justine Baltazar. Even if he will not be available already at this point, the #5 pick can still end up as a much better fit for Converge. On the other hand, Ambohot will be reunited with coach Bonnie Tan.
Meralco
Will Navarro for Chris Banchero and Allein Maliksi
This may look like an easy Northport win but it is actually a fair one. Maliksi will soon be overcome by father time. Banchero is not fitting very well in Meralco. Getting a high potential wing like Navarro is an excellent deal already for Meralco who wants to get younger.
Rain or Shine
#5 for Beau Belga and Andrei Caracut
I know that Rain or Shine already holds the #3 and #4 pick. But knowing their current roster construction, this should still be the right decision for them. That #5 can still be a blue-chip prospect for them. And having as many as possible is the correct way to go.
