PBA TRADE ALERT: San Miguel-NLEX-Northport Blockbuster deal!

From a two team trade, a three team exchange happened and it is unacceptable.

Northport traded: Robert Bolick and Kent Salado
NLEX traded: Ben Adamos, Don Trollano, Kris Rosales and NLEX’s 49th Season Second Round Pick (acquired from Blackwater).

We have an initial analysis of this one already yesterday. Read it HERE. With the addition of that 2nd round pick, the trade is now fair.

San Miguel traded: Allyn Bulanadi, Jeepy Faundo and SMB’s 51st Season second round draft pick.

This is crazy. We have Don Trollano as a top 10 player this year. Here is our Ranking.  For him to be traded for a young bench player, a bench big and a 2nd round pick is really hard to believe and disappointing.

Remember that Northport traded Bulanadi for Paul Zamar. Paul who was at the farthest end of the bench of San Miguel when that trade happened.

I do not know what the PBA is thinking when they approved this. At the very least they should have made that 2nd round pick a 1st rounder! 

Just for you to see how good Trollano is, Trollano is currently 5th in scoring for local players, with 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. If he can sustain his numbers, this tournament will be his fourth one more than 1.8 three-pointers made and 35% efficiency.

This is disgusting in any angle. This will be a gut-punch to Northport fans who just saw them won a big one last weekend and now get this very big loss in the trade table again.
