There was a recent rumor that Moala Tautuaa wants to be traded to a team that can give him more playing time. Playing as the back-up of Junemar Fajardo is not as fun as expected.
Now, between Ginebra and Magnolia, which team needs Tautuaa more? It should be Magnolia because Ginebra has two of the top 10 centers in the league already.
Now, what could be the trade that will send Tautuaa to Magnolia? Here is our suggestion!
Magnolia received: Moala Tautuaa
Northport received: Abu Tratter and David Murrell
SMB received: Will Navarro
Magnolia will give up the two players that they got in a trade with Converge last year. I do believe that Tautuaa is an upgrade over Tratter. He can stretch the floor, making him capable of playing with the other bigman of Magnolia.
For San Miguel, they will add a high quality forward in their rotation. The frontline depth will need another bigman but with the high potential of Navarro, it will be worth it.
Just imagine San Miguel running a five man line-up of CJ Perez-Marcio Lassiter-Don Trollano-Will Navarro-Junemar Fajardo and it will be hard for other teams to stop them.
