2024 PBA Draft: Five BIGGEST Winners!

The 2024 PBA draft was one of the most entertaining draft in the last several years. There are draftees who were traded already.

And with a few days passed from the draft, it is time to find our BIGGEST WINNERS. They are the ones who ended up with the most benefit from the draft. So, they can either be a player, coach, team or a draftee!

#5. Jonnel Policarpio
One of the surprising entrants in this draft. He did not make his mark yet in the UAAP but thanks to an amazing showing in the draft combine and his youth, his decision to enter now was rewarded. My question now is, will other young college ballers out there follow the footsteps of Policarpio next year?

#4. Jerom Lastimosa
Jerom ended up with a team that will help him a lot. He will have great veterans in Magnolia that will not only guide him on the court but also in his battle against big time injuries.

#3. Isaac Go
Go is a young bigman who will enter the frontline rotation of coach Tim Cone. Coach Tim chose a PG over a center with the #3 pick. That means Isaac will get a much longer opportunity to prove himself as the long-term bigman of coach Tim Cone.

#2. Rain or Shine
Rain or Shine was literally gifted Caelan Tiongson. Caelan was mocked as high as the #3 pick. I am not that high about Caelan due to his age but with what I saw in SGA, Caelan could be an amazing fit with the system of coach Yeng.

#1. Abu Tratter
Abu is just traded to Northport. Abu has been billed as a future starting bigman in the league for a long time but he has failed to deliver in the several teams that gave him a shot. Now in Northport, he is clearly a starting bigman. Will he finally prove his worth?
