PBA Finals Prediction: Ginebra will not allow TNT to become a back-to-back champion?

Even though Barangay Ginebra versus TNT is a rematch of the 2023-2024 PBA Governors Cup finals, it is still a must see match-up as the teams have big changes from that previous clash.

TNT is clearly the best defensive team in this tournament. Ginebra is playing a well-rounded scheme but coach Tim Cone showed in their match against SMB that he has a roster and a scheme that can be flex to win a series.

So, who will win the finals?

In terms of roster talent, I think TNT clearly has a deeper team but in terms of the main five to six players, I think it is close. TNT has the healthier team overall but we know that they have a lot of players that can easily get injured.

Now, in terms of head coach, I think coach Tim Cone is the better one. Do I even need to explain it? The guy is a master and currently at his peak form.

The import match-up is really interesting. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson could cement his name as the real rival and actually the better one by defeating Brownlee again.

Prediction:

This is a hard one to predict because Ginebra gave us a master class in winning against San Miguel. But, I will trust the consistency of TNT in this tournament and predict them to repeat as the champion of the Governors Cup.
