4th quarter
We are talking about two legendary head coaches who knows each other very well. I expect that there is a high chance that each game will boil down to the 4th quarter. The choices of the players to play in the 4th quarter for the two loaded teams will be vital.
Ginebra won the elimination round game by having a big advantage in assists, 23-13. TNT is turning back its style to their pass-heavy scheme after the injury of Bol Bol while Ginebra is playing a modern style. So, assists will be a deciding factor for this match-up.
The chances of TNT in securing history and become the first 8th seed to win the crown could boil down to the level of play of Chris. Is he still at a level at par with Justin Brownlee? If it is not, then TNT will not stand a chance.
Prediction
This is a hard series to predict. Both teams are deep that the 4th quarter will always be a toss-up. Assists though is clearly an area that Ginebra will dominate. And it is hard to bet that Chris is still a top 3 import material.
So, I am going with Ginebra.
