In our most recent version, we still have Matthew Wright and Arvin Tolentino here. But with them clearly playing in Japan B League at the start of its next season, we will not include them in this one!
So, here is our updated top 10 available free agents!
#10. Raymar Jose - He is undersize but the guy has proven his worth in the PBA. Any team that needs veteran presence should consider him.
#9. Vic Manuel - Manuel could be a defensive problem but offensively, he is still the post-scoring threat that can mold an offense.
#8. Mike Nieto - Nieto is not the quickest wing out there but the guy knows how to play winning basketball. I am still hopeful that he will get another chance.
#7. Bradwyn Guinto - I did not expect Guinto to end up without a roster spot for the Governors Cup. The guy has stats to back-up that he is a legit PBA player.
#6. Matthew Daves - We have not heard an update regarding the next step of Matthew but if the PBA is still an option, he should be a juicy target.
#5. Encho Serrano - Serrano was seen behind the Converge bench last week. Is this a sign that his return is imminent?
#4. Terrence Romeo - Terrence is still playing basketball but it is not even in the MPBL. Let us hope that he will still get that one last run that he deserves.
#3. Kelly Williams - I know that there is a 99% chance that TNT has a gentleman's agreement with Kelly. But the guy is a UFA. A team can push Kelly to do something shocking.
#2. Jayson Castro - The same logic will apply to Castro. But what if the MVP group do the unthinkable and let Castro sign with NLEX?
#1. Greg Slaughter - Castro is of course a greater player overall but Greg is still a 7-footer that can change the dimenstion of a playoff series.
