PBA Trade Rumors: Predicting the team to make a BUZZERBEATING trade!

 

To our surprise, no trade was consummated during that two months Gilas break. Are teams just becoming conservative or teams just failed to find the right deal?

Currently, we have not heard about any announcement regarding trade deadline. So, let us rank them according to the likelihood that they will be part of a buzzer-beating trade!

#12. NLEX - There are rumblings last month that the ongoing merger of the corporation behind NLEX and SMC has put this team under restriction from trading. So, that is the reason why we have have them here.

#11. Ginebra - Coach Tim Cone was the one who denied the rumored trade of Ginebra for Geo Chiu. It seems like they will not make a trade this season already.

#10. Rain or Shine - They are very conservative in making trades and they actually did one recently already. So, it is hard to see them doing one soon.

#9. Phoenix - They made a trade with Rain or Shine recently. They can be talk into a trade and the rumored Serrano-to-Converge is there but Serrano could be playing for Abra for now.

#8. San Miguel - I think coach Leo Austria is happy with his roster and they are winning enough games. I do not think they will look to make any improvement for this tournament.

From this point, the ranking gets tighter. I think the rumored trade discussion between Magnolia and Meralco could be an indication that Meralco failed to find a trade in this tournament. 

#6. Magnolia - Just like Meralco, Magnolia is rumored to be looking for a trade. I think they have more options than Meralco and I think Laput is easy to trade if they are willing to let him go for the best price.

#5. Converge - Converge has some interesting rumors recently and some possibilities. I put them this high because there are a lot of possibilities that could push them into a quick trade.

#4. Terrafirma - Terrafirma can still be the source of the needed addition of the other teams. Will Geo Chiu finally be traded?

#3. Titan - Titan re-signed Joshua Muznon. That means Munzon may not be traded anytime soon but it also indicate a new backer that could push them to new teams.

#2. Blackwater - Blackwater is fighting hard in Group B against Meralco, Ginebra and Phoenix. They still have two quality guys in the trade block and any team could desire a quick boost by getting them.

#1. TNT - TNT did not make a big addition to their line-up and knowing that they are aggressive, they are the best bet to do so.
